Le graphisme simple mais direct du sigle de l'ouverture de guillemets. En effet, on ne referme pas les conversations sur seesmic, on laisse la porte ouverte à qui veut répondre... N'est-ce pas le sigle que l'on utilise lorsque l'on veut raconter les dires de quelqu'un ou les siens ?

Un iris arc en ciel inséré dans des parenthèses qui forment l'oeil et symbolisent le partage, la communication ainsi que des sourcils achevants de dessiner le S de seesmic. Voilà pour la description... Pour moi aussi, le picto doit prendre une importance primordiale pour l'avenir de la diffusion publicitaire de la marque. C'est pour cela que j'ai plus planché sur lui plutôt que la typo qui reste "accessoire".

Les grands yeux de Loïc, très présents sur les vidéos.
Connecting People avec le regard.
L'oeil qui regarde les vidéos.
Le rond est la pupille de l'oeil; il représente la terre ou la planète qui converse. C'est également le "clic". One "clic".
La planète - terre est entourée de guillemets qui symbolisent la conversation. La planète toute entière converse. Les guillemets représentent aussi les ondes sismiques ou sonores. Les conversations tournent autour de la terre. Conversation géante mondiale.
Guillemets en forme de boomerangs: les "seesmicains, seesmicais, sismicois" se répondent.
Logo léger, simple, convertible en toute couleur, visible de loin, de près, en mouvement car penché, fluide pour les vidéos qui s'enchaînent et l'infinité des conversations.

Seesmic est avant tout un outil qui permet de Communiquer, c'est pourquoi j'ai décidé de mettre en valeur la lettre "C".Nous pouvons aussi voir le début d'un "S"
Le point au centre du logo peut symboliser le bouton qui permet d'enregistrer une vidéo,il représente également l'idée d'être au centre de l'attention car tout le monde peut être sur "le devant de la scene" pour un court instant sur ce site internet.En observant le logo en entier, on s'apercoit que ce meme point represente un epicentre entouré d'ondes (sismiques) qui traduit l'idée de diffusion, d'expension et même de partage.
Les couleurs chaudes et les formes rondes renforcent le côté chaleureux et joyeux.Les deux "e" de Seesmic se regardent comme pour symboliser une rencontre ou une discussion(convivialité).
Ce logo est simple donc facilement mémorisable.

Ce logo est basé sur la simplicité et la lisibilité afin qu'il soit facilement mémorisable par tous. Le symbole met en avant la communication et le partage. Chacun peut s'imaginer ce que le logo conote. Il ne pas une certaine catégorie d'age ou de personnes. Les couleurs du logo se mélange tout comme les personnes de pays différents qui dialoguerons... Bref un logo simple qui peut en dire beaucoup comme euh... non je ne citerai pas de marque!!!

L’idée de base c’est les gens (people) qui dégage l'identité humaine du produit représentée par deux êtres stylisés en forme géométriques simples en mouvement d’échange (communication harmonieuse et aussi fluide) le tout compose un (S). Pour le nom j’ai crée une police dérivée du Century gothic , simple, claire et humain gardant un rapport par la forme avec les deux (e) qu’on retrouve sur la partie haute représentant les deux mains de chaque personnages stylisés.

Carré et rigolo voilà encore ce qui définit le mieux ce logo de mon point de vue.

La valeur principale de Seesmic: les gens... sont représentés par le symbole carré (généralement utilisé pour signifier le boutton d'enregistrement) auquel il a été rajouté un oeil et une bouche ouverte (blablabla). La sensation d'échanges et de discutions semble se faire dans tous les sens avec les têtes orientées en direction des 4 points cardinaux (ce aussi pour signifier que les gens viennent de partout dans le monde). L'idée d'échange est accentuée par les 2 "e" de Seesmic qui se font face comme pour une conversation.
Et puis bien sûr la baseline "for every kind of people" qui a un effet fédérateur en plus entre autre de ramener à la chanson de Robert Palmer (tud tud tud tud tudududu).

La valeur secondaire de Seesmic: la simplicité... est traduite ici par la simplicité des formes, la sympatique rigueur des typos, l'unicité dans la couleur du logo et bien sûr par le motif qui peut évoluer seul, sans nom ni baseline, aussi bien horizontal que vertical ou en carré.

Pour ce travail, j'ai avant tout voulu partir d'une lettre du nom de la société...
Le "s", trop évident! Quoique je fasse, un gars en collants bleu et cape rouge traverse l'écran!

Depuis le début de ma réflexion, je pense au "m". Pas comme "Mac Do" mais vraiment comme "me", moi qui me filme avec ma webcam et qui me met en ligne tout(e) seul(e).

Rapport au brief, la valeur principale: les gens, la communication des 4 coins du monde, la convivialité, passe par la présentation de SEESMIC comme si c'était l'entrée d'un village ("avec internet, le monde est un village"). La typo est ronde, gaie et sympathique. Le côté humain est là avec les yeux, le sourire, la main, les doigts,... les miens, les votres, ceux de tout le monde! Le "welcome" en rajoute et l'avantage de ce visuel c'est qu'il est reconnaissable de tous partout dans le monde puisque les noms de villages sont signalés par des panneaux, pancartes et autres encarts proprets ou bricolés.

La valeur secondaire: la simplicité, passe par l'aplat de couleur, le choix du rouge ("comme pour le point de "recording" de Seesmic sur lequel il est préférable de caler le nez pour être centré à l'écran"), l'épaisseur du trait à la manière des jeux "Duplo" (si simple qu'un enfant peut le faire!), la neutralité des 2 gris légers, le "just a clic" sorte de mode d'emploi court et efficace.

Avec le temps, peut-être qu'à l'image de Nike, Adidas, Apple, Ferrari,... restera la main avec l'index et le majeur tendu en signe de "salut!"... You're welcome!
Dans l'abolu, ces petits "handboys" & "handgirls" peuvent décliner leurs expressions à la manière des smileys, devenir des mascottes voire des puppets, des objets dérivés!..

Le symbole est un S. Deux formes en miroir symbolisant l'échange, le partage d'opinion, l'upload et download ou l'aller/retour d'idée, de pensée... le dialogue. Sous un autre angle cette forme est aussi un oeil.
Car il me semble qu'un tel système est aussi un moyen d'avoir une image de soi-même, j'appui l'idée de mirroir dans le nom en inversant le E et le S, en soulignant SE par la couleur comme pour SE regarder. C'est aussi pour évoquer le fait traduit par ce dicton > "qui se ressemble s'assemble"

First to see in that symbol the letter S. Two shapes in mirror representing exchange, opinion share, upload and download or going and back an idea, a meaning... the dialogue. In an other way this shape is also an eye.
Cause it seems to me that this kinda system is also a way to look at oneself, i support the mirror idea in the name by turning the letters E and S, by underline SE with the color like to "SE regarder" (look at oneself). That's also to recall the fact translates by this saying > "Birds of a feather flock together"

Le choix des couleurs: Le blanc et le jaune se distinguent parfaitement sur un fond noir, très bonne lisibilité du logo. Le jaune étant une couleur vive il symbolise l'aspect ludique et rapide du concept.
Les deux E inversés forment ensemble une table ronde (l'échange, le débat, la conversation...).
Le I représente une personne et associé aux flèches il suggère la rapidité et simplicité d'envoi (c'est presque de la téléportation!)

des yeux, une bouche... un regard amusé tourné vers l'imaginaire, un sourire. Le S isolé par la couleur peut évoquer la main qui tient le menton pendant la reflexion. Les mots 'see' & 'mic' ressortent car il s'agit de voir et d'entendre.
En seconde lecture on peut voir des lunes, des planetes, pour l'idée du monde.

La valeur principale de seesmic, les gens, passe par les les 2 têtes et les 2 "e" qui se font face comme pour une conversation... En plus, en Asie le cercle représente l'homme, le caré la femme et inversement en occident... C'est pour tout le monde!

La valeur secondaire, la simplicité passe par l'unicité de la couleur, les formes géométrique de base, le motif qui a lui seul résume le mode d'emploi du site.
