aucun = any thing. regards_
thanks for the tip :)
Hi, I would like to see this logo with the following changes :
The pictogram point in green (light green, dark green? up to you to show me ;) ) and the "helix" in a gradient from red to blue or blue to red (best would be to try booth, to judge the result visually)
A small ".be" in the same font after the "MIR" (quite small), maybe under the "R" of MIR
"refrigeration wholesaler" in place of "aucun"
Best regards,
Jean-Marc Gason
Congratulations fatboyjim and good luck ;-)
Hi Jean-Marc
Will make the required changes and advise.
Thanks
James
bravo fatboy ;-)
Hi Jean-Marc
I have uploaded the 1 colour version first to give you an idea of the new layout. hope its OK : )
Can I just clarify where you wish the new colours to start and end.
when you state 'pictogram point' do you mean you want the ball under the helix to be green, then the whole helix to be a gradient from red to blue/blue to red?
Or
Do you want the left side where the helix starts to be green going into blue/red and the ball matching in with the gradient.
If you could let me know that would be great. In the meantime I will upload my interpretation : )
Thanks
James
good luck :)
Interesting variations,
I would have imagined the gradient to spread over the helixes, like a red one, and intermediate one and a blue one, or so.
As for the point, yes i meant the origin of the helix, sorry if it was a bit confusing ^^;...
I'll have a meeting tomorrow morning with other company members and will keep you informed.
Best regards,
Jean-Marc Gason
Good luck fatboyjim ;-)
Hi Jean-Marc
I have added some more variations with the gradient over the helix. I also created a version where the colours are in block steps.
Thanks
James
Hi Fatboyjim,
Well, in the end your first gradient idea was the good one, variation 4 retained the most attention here.
Just some little details about it :
"refrigeration wholesaler" is a bit too subtle, we do not want the baseline to occupy the same space as the MIR.be. Maybe you could use a darker grey and lighten the font a bit ?
The gradients like you first did them in this variation 4, gradient over each helix branch is the good idea, but right now we have a bit of a problem with the grey-ish transition between the red and the blue in the middle of each helix branch first part. I understand you tryed to avoid a disturbing purple in the middle, but right now it's too grey...
We really like the current order of colors, going from red to blue then having the blue break at the end of the helixes. But maybe red gradient orientation should be parralel with the breakup line in each helix if you get what I mean (so your gradient draw line in AI/PS should be perpendicular to the breakup line, if it makes sense to you...).
Also, could you try to place the baseline upper, nearer to the MIR.be, but not pasted, leave some air between, just a bit less air...
Thanks a lot for your time,
Jean-Marc Gason
Hi Jean-Marc
I have uploaded a new version of the gradient (Var 1) I had to switch the blues around in the first gradient as the red and lighter blue kept producing the grey tones. Now the red is blending with a darker blue producing a purple tone, which I feel looks much better than the grey tones. the gradients have also been run perpendicular to the white lines.
I have also updated the font to a much more slender font and darkened the grey.
I have also uploaded another version I was working on (Var 3). Where there is a red gradient on one side of the line and a blue on the other side. Have a look, see what you think.
Thanks
James
Ok, great work !
Too much choice to decide that fast. We like variation 1 and 3, could ou just do the following :
Make "refrigeration wholesaler" a bit bigger and justify it with MIR.be like in your first versions. The new font is perfect and the new height of the baseline too, just justify it and make it a bit bigger.
Best regards,
Jean-Marc Gason
Hi Jean-Marc
I have updated the the text on the two variations.
Anything else, just let me know.
Thanks
James
