Concept of the site
What is Wilogo?

Wilogo is a site which create logos for companies. A community of designers proposes their creations to the companies which have done a demand for a logo and

these last choose one of them. The designer will be paid and the company will obtain the rights of the logo.
The company only selects a pack which best fits with her needs and Wilogo do the rest : remuneration of the designers, contracts of transfer of rights, moderation...
Is it free to participate to a demand for a logo?
Off course! Everything is free on Wilogo for designers !
What is the Karma?

The Karma allow to evaluate the quality of the creations of the designers and their participation (activity) on Wilogo. The Karma is divided in two parts which are added :

- the activity Karma which depends of the participation of the designer on Wilogo : the number of votes, of comments on the blog and the forum, of logos sent and of godsons.

 

- the quality Karma which depends of the quality of the logos sent by the designer : the number of hits from the community (if the logo is in the top 3), the number of hits from the customers and the number of logos sold.
Do I have to comment all the logos?
No, you comment only the logos you want.
Why are some designers green in the member list?
The designers that appear in green are those who sold at least one logo or who have been at least ones first in numbers of hits in a demand for a logo.
Can I take logos from Wilogo?
No, logos on Wilogo are the property of their respective authors: taking a logo is a violation of copyright.
Use of the site
How can I send a logo?

To send one of your creations on Wilogo, you only need to go in "Participate" and to choose the demand for which you want to propose your logo. After you juste have to accept the terms of use and to click on the button participate at the bottom of the page.

The next page will ask you to select your file in order to send it on Wilogo.

Warning: we only accept files in JPG format in 500x500 pixels.

How to hit your preferred logos?
To mark a logo as a favorie, you just have to go in "Let's vote" in the title bar, to choose a demand and to click on "Hit it" below the logo you like
Can we vote for our own logos?
No, it's impossible, you can't love you that much on Wilogo ;-)
How to comment the existing logos?
To comment a logo, everything is in "Let's vote" in the demands. After you have to click on the small bubble near the logo. Finally you write your comment and you finish by validating.
Can we comment the logos after the choice of the customer?
No, when the customer choose a logo, hits and comments are stopped for this demand.
Can we hit the logos after the choice of the customer?

Can I be notified when there is new comments on a topic or on a logo?
Yes, to to this you only need to check the case "Keep me informed when there is new messages" which is on the differents topics and on the page of comments for a logo.
How to fill your member profile and put your avatar?
To fill your member profile, you just have to go in "Your account" and to fill your informations. For your avatar, it is the same : but you have the possibility to change your avatar when you want.

How to log in on the site?
To log in on the site, you just need to enter your mail or your pseudo and your password (received by mail) in the fields in the top right of the site and to click on the button "OK". Once logged in, the fields will disappear and leave the place to another menu of navigation.
If a demand for a logo is confidential, do I have to accept the terms to participate?
Yes, you have to check the box "I accept the conditions of confidentiality" to participate.
What is the minimum age to participate at Wilogo?
The minimum age to participate at Wilogo is 18 years old.
How to make a variant of my logo the main logo?
To make a variant of your logo being the main logo, all you have to do is go to the page of the logo and click on the name of the corresponding variant.

You'll then see that the name of the variant change when you hover with your mouse to become "main logo".
What is the shortlist bonus?
The shortlist bonus is distributed once a month (the first day of month) to the person who had the largest number of logos shortlist in the previous month.

If several designers were the same number of times shortlistés, the jackpot (currently 10 € / demand) is divided among all winners.
My logos
Can I send my logos when the demand for a logo is finished?
No, you can't: when a demand begins, there is a time limit which is fixed and this is one of the rules you have to respect.
Do I have to host and stock the logos that I want to propose?
No, the logos you make are hosted on our servers. You don't need to have a personal hosting solution to participate on Wilogo.
What do the pictures I send have to respect?
The logos sent have to be in JPG format and their size must be 500x500 pixels.
What are the elementary laws to respect for a creation of a logo?
The two elementary laws are to not do improper logos (no religious signs, racists, abusive...) and to not copy an existant logo (copyrighted or copy a logo already proposed by a member of Wilogo). The suspicious logos will be examined and erased if they are improper or copied.
Where can I see all my logos?
All your logos are in the page "My account". They are ordered by hit numbers diminishing.

You just sell a logo on Wilogo, please follow exactly the procedure bellow to recieve your payment :

  1. Connect you on http://www.wilogo.com.
  2. Send your logo (join the different formats: vectorial, jpg, pdf,...) chosen by the customer in a compressed folder (zip is better for us) on the site (In the page "My account").
  3. You HAVE TO send us an invoice at this address (and at the same order) :

  4. NB: if you are a private individual, you have to respect the laws in your country and send us a valid invoice.
  5. Join with the mail sent at Wiconcept, the desired method of payment :

What types of files must I provide if my logo is chosen?
You have to send the vectorial file of your logo and all its alternatives and an high definition image file  (JPG or PDF for example).

Who are the admins of this site and what do they do?

The admins of Wilogo are :

- Nenigrouss : relational and moderation

- Eddy : communication and

- Greg : development et moderation

 

That said, there is a guy responsible for both the english and spanish comunity, which is writing this FAQ. He goes by the nickname "StuFF mc" and will always serve you ;)

Is it allowed to have several accounts for the same person?
No, the multi accounts is forbidden and every accounts "doubloons" will be deleted without any explanations.

Can I change my pseudo?
No, it's not possible.
I have lost my password, what can I do?
To recover your password, you just have to click on "Password forgotten?" on the home page of Wilogo and to follow the instructions.
